Spa/Hot Tub Removal in Diamond Bar, CA (Rat Attack!)

It's amazing how many rats and black widows we run into while removing a hot tubs. Last week we had a job in Diamond Bar and ended up rescuing 9 baby rats. While we were cutting up the spa we noticed them sleeping in the foam inside the spa.

We set them aside for their mother to pick them up because we don't like to kill anything. The spa was so old and rotted. It smelled bad from all the rats living in it. Our customer was really happy to see his rotted rat infested spa gone for good!

Customer Captures Spa Removal with Time Lapse Photography! Location: Cerritos, CA

Last week we had a job in Cerritos where a customer had his camera positioned on top of his patio pointing towards his backyard (where we were working). He had an old in-ground spa along with the equipment and some concrete around the spa that he wanted removed. The job went well. We put some of the concrete at the bottom of the hole and with some existing dirt we managed to almost fill in the hole completely and compacted it every 6".

Joe was happy with our work. He wrote us a week later thanking us and sharing the Time Lapse video with us. See for yourself below!

Spa Removal in Orange County, CA. This Above Ground Hot Tub Was Full of Dead Rats!

We love Orange County jobs because of the nice scenery and the fact that we don't have to battle a lot of traffic being that we are based in Irvine. Last week we removed and backfilled and in-ground Jacuzzi in Mission Viejo and yesterday we cut up and removed a swim spa in Newport beach. This Cal Spas brand hot tub was full of rodent damage and stopped working one year after it was purchased. We removed the entire spa and all of the pump and heating equipment. The customers were happy, especially because now they have much more room in their backyard.

Next stop: Laguna Niguel for a spa and gazebo removal.

Above Ground (portable) Spa Removal in Marina del Rey, CA.

Now this was a interesting job. We had to cut up and remove a portable spa from a three story balcony in Marina del Rey. Part of the problem is... we are clean freaks and they had almost white carpet. To complete this job in keeping with our standards we used medical booties, plastic bags and tarps. All went well and the customer was very happy with our work. She said she called about 4 other hot tub removers and although our pricing was very similar we seem to the most professional. That was a nice complement.

On our way out we removed a queen size mattress and box spring for her along with a few other off items. She was moving and we were happy to accommodate her as we have a very large trailer and visit the land fill about 3 times a week. See pics below of our 3 story spa demolition, removal and clean up.

Spa & Hot Tub Removal in Los Angeles and West LA All in a Day's Work!

We started out in Los Angeles for a backyard portable spa removal. The customer was not home, but because we accept credit cards and come highly recommended the Edward's were A-OK with us removing the spa while they were at work. We not only removed the spa, cover and steps, but noticed a lot of bugs and spiders under the hot tub so we did a quick bug spray for them. When we spot more than 3 black widows we have to make command decisions ; )

Next Stop: West LA for a in-ground Jacuzzi removal including the pool pump and gas cap off.

More Spa Removal Adventures in Pasadena and Glendale this Week!

First Stop: Glendale, CA for a (in-deck) Hot Springs brand removal. The customer warned us of SKUNKS under the deck, but thank God we didn't run into any. These customers (a retired couple) were really nice, even tipped us $50 and said they would be happy to write a review on us. Wow! Love those Glendale folks : )

Their cat was the
on-site inspector!

Their hot tub was very nice. They were happy to hear we were going to donate it to a gentleman with sever health and back issues.

The customer was going to replace a lot of their deck so it was convenient to be able to remove some of the old decking. This way we avoided having to cut up the spa.

NEXT STOP: Pasadena... no pics, but more extremely nice customers and lovely homes up in the hills of Pasadena. I want to move there!

Hot Tub Removal in Los Angeles - Best Spa Disposal in LA County!

More hot tub hauling adventures in Los Angeles this past weekend. We hauled away an old 8' x 8' spa that was totally rotted out and infested with mice and bugs. The customer was happy to see it gone and now they have more room for a BBQ they just purchased.

The dump fees on this monster hot tub were $60, but the weight topped 1/2 ton including the motors. When it comes to spa and hot tub removals in Los Angeles I think we have the competition beat because we love what we do and we like to see our customers happy! This one was tough, but a good work out.

Almost finished demolishing it!

Just finished cleaning up!
